This page explains what liramon.com records and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
If you give us your email address, we store it and use it to send you news about Liramon.
If you write a comment, we store the text. We keep it without your email address attached.
Every visit also records standard technical and usage information, including your IP address, basic details your browser reports, where you came from, and how the page was used. We set one cookie of our own to recognise the same browser on a later visit. See Advertising below.
Why
To work out which parts of this game people find interesting, and to keep automated traffic out of the results. We do not track you across other websites ourselves.
Advertising
We run ads on Instagram. If you arrived from one, the link carried tags telling us which ad it was, and we store those with the records above. This site loads no advertising or analytics scripts from anyone else.
We tell Meta about three things you do here: visiting a page, tapping a store button, and joining the waitlist. This is how we see which ads bring people who are actually interested, and pay for the ones that do. We send it from our server, not from your browser.
Every one of those includes your IP address, the details your browser reports, and the ad-click identifier from the link you followed if you arrived from an ad. A waitlist signup also includes your email address scrambled into a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) that we cannot reverse. Meta can compare that fingerprint, and the other details, with what it already holds to recognise you. It uses the result to choose who sees our ads, including showing them again to people who looked and did not sign up. Meta's own privacy policy governs what it does next.
To recognise the same browser across visits we store one cookie, named
_fbp, set by this site rather than by anyone else. It holds a
random number and nothing about you. Blocking or clearing it costs you
nothing here.
If you would rather not be counted this way, write to us and we will delete your records, or use an address you have not given to Meta.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent anything we collect. Nobody outside this project is ever given your email address in readable form; the only thing that leaves is the scrambled fingerprint described above.
Keeping and deleting
Records are stored on a server we run in the United States, and deleted when this project ends. Write to us and we will delete yours sooner. Every email we send also carries an unsubscribe link.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has given us an email address, write to us and we will remove it.
